Memories
Since 1908 Wilson’s been standing tall. This may be our last year, but we'll never fall. Our teachers, students, and staff have done their best. To make Woodrow Wilson High the very best.
Since Principal R.L. Sweeney broke ground for the new Wilson in July of 53, Our mark was made, so let it be.
When blacks and whites were
in the same classes in the year
of ’68, We joined hands and made Wilson High one of the greats.
1926 was our first time being champions of the state. We were known to the world as one of the best in the U.S. of A.
Many students were hurt when the decision to close us was made. So to keep Wilson alive, we all bowed and prayed.
To the past and present Pres-idents who have left and are leaving Wilson, we’re with you.
And we hope to see future Presidents graduate from Wilson, too. We will miss the Wilson family, the history, and the cheers,
As we say good-bye to all eighty-five years.
