Wilson is coached again this year by Ray McGinley, it seems that overnight the Presidents have “come alive” in the district as again this year they proved to be very tough. The Presidents certainly had the potential to win the tournament with the talented individuals they had fighting for district championships including Tim Bonds, Joe Dun-bar, Walter Jenkins, Rylent Jenkins, and Leslie Harris.

The J.V. wrestling team boasted several good
prospects for the Varsity team. Under Mr. Mid-gett, who returned this year, the team had a suc-cessful season with a record of 6-4. Team co-captains were freshmen Roy Brown and Chris Gardner

Golf: Probably the most improved player in district was Andrew Schmidt, who qualified for Regionals played at Ocean View shot an 82 and 84 in District Tourney.

Tennis: Returning Senior Billy Diggs led the team with an 8-5 record. In the Southeastern District Tournament the team finished 6th with Diggs reaching the quarter finals before losing to the eventual singles champion. Receiving a star was Mark Flanders.
