DISTRICT,
REGIONAL,
AND STATE!!
Wilson captured the AAA-Division 6 State Football Championship December 16 in bitter cold weather at Foreman Field.  They defeated Potomac 20-0 and reclaimed the State Title after 35 years.
The last championship was in 1954, Coach Moore and the team were honored with many cakes, receptions, dinners, and a parade.  They attended a session of the General Assembly in Richmond.  Banners and congratulations were extended from other schools throughout the city.  Previous football championships have been won by the Presidents, but this is the first State Championship for the school at its' present building site.
