With a 4-5 record for the year the team made great strides in gaining experience and winning games at the same time.  Overall, Coach Moore was disappointed because his expectations are always high, for his team. Never the less, he felt that they were better than anyone had reason to believe they would be.  We had the following players place in the city: Qright Eric --- All District, Tidewater, Regional City.  Slaughter Lin --- All District.  Keith Ashbury --- All City.  Marby --- All City Distrrict.  Gainet Clinton --- All City.

JV'S FOOTBALL
TEAM IS IN
THE RUNNING
The J.V. season was a suc-cessful one in two ways. Firstly once again the team has come up with a winning season 5-0-0.  Coach McGinley was disappointed that the team did not win every game but, overall he thinks they did as well as they could.  The season was riddled by unexpected situations such as there were times when they were forced to start players out of position or had to play without key personnel.
Secondly it has produced a number of good players to move to varsity team next year.
