From decorating bulletin boards to helping Seniors with college expenses, the Student Council Association (SCA) works hard to achieve its annual goals. Its motto this year is “Be an Eagle in Presidential Territory with Pride, Dignity, and Respect,” and they try very hard to encourage the student body to just that while being the best that they can be.

After one full semester of study in the area of marriage and family 1ssues, a make-believe wedding was the icing on the cake. Over 100 spectators filled the chorus room to take part in this special event. The wedding was produced by Mrs Carol Danners Family Living and Marriage and Family classes. Harry Cole, portraying the minister, announced James Green and Earlene Fortson, Mark Brown and Mirian Clanton as husband and wife.
Other participants were Karin McNeil, Dana Darden, Anita Westmoreland, Yvonda Prunty, and Lorethia Stephens as the bridesmaids. The ushers imcluded Michael Copeland, James Edwards, Victor Washington, Fred Ferguson, and Jerry
Schneider.
